Brad Can Cook.

There used to be a cooking show on called "Yan Can Cook". Yan was a funny Chinese immigrant who was an amazing chef. Brad's a funny American who's a pretty good cook. Similarities abound!

Anyhow, Brad whipped up dinner for us last night, which included homemade garlic toast and a chicken piccolini pasta with mushroom dish. Yummy! Total cost was under $5-not too shabby! Photo of the leftovers-there wasn't much left over, that's for sure.

Ingredients:
1 box of leftover Picolini pasta (probably about 14oz) ($0.06)
2 cups of leftover diced chicken ($1.89)
1 14 oz can diced tomatoes ($0.33)
1 8 oz can tomato sauce ($0.25)
4 cloves garlic, minced ($-? not much)
handful of fresh button mushrooms, roughly chopped ($-? not much)
italian seasonings to taste
1/2 loaf italian bread ($0.89)
butter for bread
italian seasonings to taste

Directions: Mix tomatoes and tomato sauce, heat in skillet. Add garlic, mushrooms, seasonings. Cook until hot. Add noodles and chicken. Cook until noodles & chicken are heated. Serve with garlic toast & a salad.
