You'd think with being stuck home with sick kids (biggest brother was home sick the week prior) that I'd have OODLES of time to clean, decrapify, whatnot.
Nope.
Turns out, little man Bryce likes people to sit with him on the couch when he's sick. It's very sweet, but also very unproductive.
So, I have been forced to cheat. Just a little, teeny bit. I cleaned under the downstairs bathroom sinks. Cheated. Totally. Why is that cheating? Well, I cleaned those bad boys out in late September so our friend N could stay with us for awhile & have a place for HER bathroom stuff. I'd already purged the HECK outta those cabinets, combining all 3 boys' things into one side, leaving N the other side.
They were only sorta gross underneath.
Here's some moderately gross "before" photos:
Left side beneath the sink. GINORMOUS bottle of hair gel is the lone item. Well, that plus some dust and bits o' paper. Why the gigantic bottle of hair gel? Well, we like our hair UNDER CONTROL around here. Ok. No, it was probably on sale.
Other sink "before":
Ok, some really oddball things under here. Plus dust. Plus hair. I recycled the ah, used up, glass jar candle. I also recycled the 2 wipes containers, pitched the broken green cap thingie that I don't know what it goes to.
And, the glorious "afters":
And here's the other side. This one is even MORE IMPRESSIVE. Ready?
It's EMPTY. That's right folks. Totally empty. I'm in love with this empty, slightly warped cabinet. I think it's the only empty storage space in the house. All that lovely emptiness also cost me $0.
I love being having one space organized. Time to decrapify something else.
