Late Harvest

You know what happens when you don't go out to your garden on a regular basis and pick things? I'll tell you what happens. Your garden keeps growing and growing!!! I haven't been doing a good job keeping up with the garden the past 8 weeks and despite my neglect, it kept growing without me. It looks a bit unruly, but it's still producing. Check out what I picked!!

That's FOUR pounds of cherry tomatoes in the colander. I'll be sharing them for sure!

The last of my watermelons! I picked six today and they weighed in around 32 pounds. They were a bit over ripe, but definitely edible.

The very very last of the cantaloupe. The largest one below was the size of a softball, the others were more like baseballs. The flavor was about equal to store-bought, but they were very juicy.
