On Vacation...
This was our view this morning. Misty fog on the lake and a beautiful sunrise. Temperature was in the low 50's and it was absolutely AMAZING. God is good.

Thanks for the comment on the black-eyed Susans. I read that rabbits and deer like to eat them. My first thought was deer because the flowers are too high for rabbits. Now I think Sissy had it correct with that beetle. I googled that beetle and saw where someone posted some echinacea that looked a lot like my damage.
Zoey---we were up in Newaygo county...land of the Amish & farms =) But this photo could be anywehre Up North here in MI!! I hope you can conquer your beetle problem--you have too many appetizing perennials for them to eat!!
