Brett offers up more 7 year old wisdom.
Scene: At the bus stop.
Backstory: Brett lost priviledges yesterday due to using a Sharpie as a stylus for his DS. He left the Sharpie sitting out on the counter. You've all heard my Sharpie disaster stories about Bryce. Let's just say the DS is now covered in black Sharpie.
Me: So, Brett, did you learn anything from yesterday's loss of priviledges?
Brett: Yeah. Don't use a Sharpie as a stylus.
Me: How about "keep my stuff organized so I don't HAVE to use a Sharpie as a stylus?"
Brett: MO-OMMMM!!!
(insert generic talk about how the snow looks like styrofoam because of the freezing rain)
Brett: Well, Bryce has Baby Powers anyway.
Me: "Baby Powers?" What are Baby Powers?
Brett: It's basically the power of guilt. He makes me feel guilty so I have to give him all my stuff. Then he throws it around and I have to clean it up. Baby Powers.
**discussion with Brad--we think we need to toughen up on Bryce having his way with Brett's things. Bryce is not a baby anymore, so he doesn't HAVE TO HAVE everything that Brett plays with. **
