Not Everyone Has A Bryce.

I should call this post "quotable houseguest", but that just seems weird.

Houseguest N and I had a few moments to watch a little HGTV or DIY (really, they're so similar) last night. We had on some show where they take your "shame on you" backyard and fix it up. No gardening, just over-the-top plantings and accessories in a little suburban backyard.

Well this yard ended up with a stream running through it. A fake stream, not an actual stream. The Army Corps of Engineers would be needed to divert an actual stream. But I digress.

I commented, "Who'd want a stream in the middle of their yard? The kids would be in it constantly, they'd be wet, they'd throw stuff in it, it would be a constant pain to keep clean."

N's response? "You have a pool and  not everyone has a Bryce."
