Labor Day Weekend

~~or, Summer Freedom Slipping Away~~

We had a party yesterday with some of our buds-it was great as all the kids kept themselves entertained in the pool (and out of our hair!) Brad smoked a small turkey and we grilled hot dogs. Mostly we drank a bit too much, ate a bit too much and had a great time laughing and catching up.

The kids required very little attention, once it was too dark (and cool) to enjoy the pool, the found their way inside to the Wii. At this point we had 4 kids and 4 remotes, so it worked out well. Bryce kept himself busy going in and out the doorwall.

Labor Day is bittersweet as it officially marks the end of summer; school starts for just about everyone in Michigan the day after Labor Day. Get your last hurrah in while you can!
